Description of Type of Work: Removal of existing 56 ft. single-span box beam bridge on wall type abutments on spread footings; installation of 57.75 ft. single-span box beam bridge on semi-integral abutments on piles; 195 ft. of 12" water line; storm sewer; asphalt pavement; sidewalk; and guardrail. Location of Work: Brandonway Drive Engineer's Estimate: $1,800,000.00 Estimated Completion Date: September 16, 2024 All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. Payment of Prevailing Wages IS required for this Project. The CITY OF DUBLIN reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion, offers the lowest and best bid. The Contractor will be permitted to use a portion of the Brandon Open Space "A" Park as a staging and laydown area. The area will be a rectangle 60 ft. x 100 ft. in area. The area will start 80 ft. northeast of the Brand Road right-of-way and be adjacent to the southeast right-of-way of Brandonway Drive. The exact location will be coordinated with the City at the preconstruction meeting. The Contractor shall be responsible for the restoration of any disturbance to grass, curb and gutter, and other City owned and maintained assets to a like or better condition to the satisfaction of the City. Landscape areas, shrubs, and trees shall be protected with tree protection fencing. Tree protection fencing around trees shall be a minimum of 15 feet from the trunk. The Contractor will be responsible for all costs associated with the staging area.
