The work includes the furnishing of all labor, material, and equipment necessary or required to complete all work set forth in the specifications. The work generally consists of resurfacing of the existing tennis court, striping of one (1) tennis court and one (1) pickleball court, installation of tennis net and posts, and associated restoration work. Proposals must be made on the Standard Proposal Forms in a manner designated in the contract documents,and must be accompanied by all items identified in the Contract Documents including, but not limited to, a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and a bid guarantee (Proposal Security) for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid except that the guarantee need not exceed $20,000.00. Prospective bidders are hereby notified that an original, two (2) copies and (1) USB flash drive along with signatures of the entire bid package, must be submitted to the City. The City of Plainfield reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the City of Plainfield. Bidders are also required to comply with other provisions of Law including, but not limited to, the requirements of: Executive Order #34 (1976) - Debarred Vendors N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (P.L. 1977, c.33, Disclosure of Ownership) N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (P.L. 2004, c.57, Business Registration) N.J.S.A. 34.11-56.25, et. seq. (P.L. 1963, c.150, Prevailing Wages) N.J.S.A. 34.11-56.48 (Public Works Contractor Registration) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action Compliance/EEO) N.J.S.A. 52:32-55 (P.L. 2012, c.25, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran) 42 U.S.C. S121 01 et seq. (Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990) The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, supplies, labor and transportation, including fuel, power, water and performing all work as required in the Statement of Work in the contract, in strict accordance with the specifications, schedules and drawings, all of which are made a part hereof, and including such detail drawings as may be furnished by the Engineer from time to time during the prosecution of the work in explanation of said drawings. He Contractor acknowledges that he has satisfied himself as to the nature and location of the work, the general and local conditions, including but not restricted to those bearing upon transportation, disposal, handling and storage of materials, availability of labor, water, electric power, roads and uncertainties of weather, river stages, tides or similar physical conditions at the site, the conformation and conditions of the ground, the character of equipment and facilities needed preliminary to and during the prosecution of the work. The Contractor further acknowledges that he has satisfied himself as to the character, quality and quantity of surface and subsurface materials or obstacles to be encountered insofar as this information is reasonably ascertainable from an inspection of the site, including all exploratory work done by the Engineer
