The University's primary objective in utilizing the Brief Design Build approach is to bring the best available integrated design and construction experience to this project. The University has determined that proposers who submit proposals on this project must be prequalified. ** The Work shall design, fabricate, assemble to the maximum extent possible, shop test, deliver, install, and provide startup and commissioning, acceptance testing, supervision and training for one (1) Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) emissions control system, complete with all components and design features, as specified herein for installation at The University of California Davis Campus in Davis, CA. The SCR system shall be installed to an existing D-type Babcock & Wilcox Industrial watertube boiler producing up to 100,000 lbm/hr of high-pressure steam. The boiler is designated as boiler #1 by the University and is installed indoors. Additionally, the design builder will incorporate Boiler #4, an existing D-Type Rentech water tube boiler producing up to 150,000lb mass per hour of high-pressure steam, SCR anhydrous ammonia system to be supplied by the urea/ammonia conversion system. The design builder will confirm existing grid and catalyst are compatible with the direct urea or ammonia injection. The SCR system materials and equipment shall be standard products of the manufacturers regularly engaged in the manufacture of those products and shall be designed in accordance with the latest applicable standards. The SCR catalyst and ancillaries shall be pre-assembled in modules to the maximum extent possible to keep installation time minimized. Target Contract Amount: $1,500,000 Estimated Contract Time: 130 Calendar Days Prequalified proposers will be required to have the following California contractor's license: General Engineering "A".
