Reference Number 0000257841 Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/10/26 05:00:00 PM EDT Grand River Hospital (GRH) is issuing this Request for Supplier Qualifications to establish a list of prequalified contractors who may be invited to bid on upcoming General Contractor projects with a construction cost between $0.00 up to $99,999.00. Any supplier who does not participate in the pre-qualification process or does not appear on the list may be excluded from bidding opportunities. Grand River Hospital is requesting Stipulated Price Contract bids for additions, renovations and alterations, to the existing buildings and infrastructure for the following types of projects including but not limited to: Renovations and/or alterations to inpatient clinical, outpatient clinical, support services and administration spaces. Modifications, infrastructure upgrades, repair or remedial work to systems including but not limited to: a) General Carpentry (Rough and Finish) b) Infection Control as per GRH guideline outlined in Schedule 7 Contractor Policy c) Painting d) Drywall e) Acoustical Ceiling f) Concrete/Masonry 9) Millwork, Cabinetry, Wall Protection and Moulding Installation h) Flooring i) Demolition j) Minor Roof and Building Envelope Repairs k) Door and Door Hardware Replacements 1) Minor Electrical and Plumbing work including coordination work with 3rd Party testing and inspectors Proponents will provide labour, materials, tools, machinery, equipment, and sub-trades to coordinate the work of all trades to prevent conflicts without impeding job progress. Proponents will provide project management and be accountable for total project budget, scope, schedule, resources, change management, quality control and communications. Proponents are expected to work with GRH project managers and coordinators on these projects, along with sub trades that GRH may hire, and this may result in coordination of multiple projects at GRH at any given time. The proponents could also assume the role of Site Administrator/General Contractor and work with Engineering Firms in managing sub-trades for projects, assuming all Insurance and WSIB liability.
