Replace Site Retaining Wall and Stairs - Lee Hall Work will commence on or around May 21, 2024. All work on this Contract is to be substantially complete by August 14, 2024. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. All questions and/or requests for clarifications regarding the contract documents are to be directed to Deb Bruce at Deb.Bruce@Oneonta.edu or the consultant Joseph Kime at jkime@beardsley.com. Telephone inquiries will not be considered. All questions must be received no later than close of business, Friday November 4, 2023. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. University hereby establishes an overall goal of 30% for MWBE participation, 17.2% for Minority-Owned business Enterprises (MBE) participation, 12.8% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE) participation and an overall goal of 6% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business enterprises (SDVOB) participation. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
