Annual Contract For The Repairs To The Amboy Avenue, State Street And Front Street Pumping Station Pumps, Motors And Appurtenances. Sealed Bids Will Be Received Via Regular Mail Or Courier Service And Opened By The Purchasing Agent At City Hall, Council Chambers Located At 260 High Street, Perth Amboy, Nj 08861. Said Bids Can Be Mailed, By Courier Service Or Hand Delivery To The Office Of The Water Department At 590 Smith Street, Perth Amboy, Nj 08861 Prior To The Date And Time Stated. The City Is Not Responsible For Late Delivery By Any Couriers Or The Postal Service. Bidders are required to comply with: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers, check or bid bond payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Perth Amboy, as a guarantee that of contracts is awarded to him, and he will enter into a contract therefore. The amount so deposited shall be ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-14 provides that the Governing Body of any municipality may provide the form and manner of approval of all guarantee, indemnity, fidelity or other bonds required.
