The work contemplated will include removal of existing security glass in detention windows, replacing it with new security glass, and recaulking the exterior perimeter of the window frames. The Contractor's North Carolina License number shall be designated on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. Each bid that equals or exceeds $300,000.00. Bids will be evaluated, and the Contract will be awarded in accordance with statutory public contract requirements as supplemented or altered by the Minority Women Business Enterprise Utilization Ordinance of the County of Durham (MWBE). Proposals are encouraged and welcome from historically underutilized businesses (HUBs). The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive informalities, and/or accept such bid as appears in its judgement to be in the best interest of the County.
