The project involves the installation of HDPE Pipe , Flared End Sections , Type C Inlets (Std. & Type 4 Boxes), Rip Rap Aprons, Roadside Swales, Tree Removal , Fine Grade/ Roadway Compaction, No. 2A Stone Road Base, 19mm Binder Course,9.5mm Wearing Course, Roadway Reprofiling Excavation, Removal of Existing Twin Metal Pipe Culvert, Elliptical RCP Culvert , Cast in Place Concrete Headwall/ Endwall, Guiderail and End Treatments, Rip Rap Slope Protection, Diversion Berm, Clearing and Grubbing/ Mobilization, E&S Pollution Controls and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check, a 100% payment bond or certified check, a workeraEUR(TM)s compensation affidavit, and a certificate of insurance naming West Vincent Township and LTL Consultants as additional insureds, all within 10 days after the contract is awarded. A 15% maintenance bond will also be required upon completion of the project. All of the Superpave asphalt material required for this project will be purchased directly by the Township.
