Snow/Ice Removal on Sidewalks The contractor is required to photograph each sidewalk parcel prior to and after snow and/or ice removal or treatment. This requirement is for snow and/or ice removal on sidewalks only. The City will provide the digital camera and rechargeable batteries. See "Special Instructions: for further descriptions of snow/ice removal requirements. The successful applicant will possess adequate equipment to remove snow and/or ice in an efficient manner. See "Equipment Schedule". The City of Mason City will be responsible for collection of all payments and the contractor is to bill the city. The Contractor shall furnish the City with proof of commercial general liability insurance for a minimum of $1,000,000.00, property damage coverage of not less than $500,000. The policy shall name the City as an additional insured; and automotive liability insurance for a minimum of $100,000.00 each person, $300,000.00 each occurrence and property damage liability of $25,000.00. Contracts will remain in force for the term specified. 2. The City will have the option to extend a contract for a period not to exceed one year. The City shall give notice to the vendor at least 30 days prior to the termination of the contract. 3. The City reserves the right to amend the specification of the contract each year by adding or deleting properties and/or sidewalks. The City will reserve the right to negotiate pricing with the contractor for the requested change. We reserve the right to reject any and all quotes.
