The County of Sherburne (County) Information Technology (IT) is seeking proposals from qualified proposers to provide for a Unified Communication System (UCaaS) that will meet the specifications identified in this Request for Proposal (RFP). It is our objective to purchase a new cloud hosted communication system that will meet the needs of the County. The UCaaS shall provide full services for enterprise telephony, mobility, enable communication business process, instant messaging (texting), provide interoperability with Government Office application (Microsoft Teams and Office 365), be able to integrate analog devices, and to provide a migration from our on-site VoIP system into the UCaaS. Sherburne County currently utilizes a number of systems for communication. o Our primary application for virtual meetings is Microsoft Teams. o Our primary phone calling platform is on a recent release of Cisco's Unified Call Manager within a redundant virtual server environment. o Physical phones are primarily VOIP enabled Cisco end-point devices on Cat6 wiring with RJ-45 jacks for connectivity to the network and to desktop devices. o We run roughly 50 analog devices on older analog wiring. (Elevators, analog phone, older fax machine). o We use a third-party cloud hosted application, Captivated.Works(TM), for texting purposes. o We use a third-party in-house application for faxing, RightFax(TM). This will need to remain in-use. These solutions are nearing end-of life and should not be considered as dependent pieces within the new UCaaS proposal. It is our objective to seek a modern cloud-hosted Unified Communication System that enhances citizen service, improves the voice usability and flexibility of the County, and integrates modern and diverse calling, messaging, and automation ability. The successful proposer will present a UCaaS system that is able to encompass the broad set of communication needs, integrating with Microsoft Office 365 Government Community Cloud (GCC), and ensures coverage of our analog devices.
