Reference Number AB-2023-06174 (1. This building is an occupied and operating facility. No disruption of any services will be permitted without prior approval from Trinity Pace Foundation of Alberta (TPF). Coordinate and schedule all installation work with TPF to minimize downtime and disruption of any system and/or services to the building residents. (2. Before submitting bid, visit the site and examine the existing building conditions, existing structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical installation which this work is in anyway interdependent for best workmanship and execution according to the intent of the scope of work, specifications and by laws. Costs for extra work which was not reported prior to submitting bid shall be borne by the contractor. (3. Contractor shall apply and pay all fees related to all required fees, permits and licenses required by the authority having jurisdiction prior to perform the scope of work. All fees must be included on bid price. All electrical work shall be accomplished in accordance with codes and bylaws. (4. Contractor is to arrange for own Waste Disposal. TPFA bins are not to be used. All hazardous materials must be disposed of in accordance with applicable regulations. (5. Contractor is expected to foster and operate in a safe and expeditious manner at all times. (6. Contractor may sign in and out at the beginning and end of each workday. (7. Contractor may use all public washroom facilities. (8. There is no parking and no storage available on site. (9. Contractor must follow the latest health and safety protocols. (10.Contractor may provide a schedule for work on their bid submission. (11.Contractor is responsible for fixing all damages to the building premisses occurred from their scope of work. (12.A complete list of the light fixtures to be replaced is located in the scope of work. Contractor is responsible to review all areas and double-check and confirm quantities listed to ensure it includes ALL fixtures. (13.Bid Bond is only mandatory for bids over $250,000. This Scope of Work Outlines the Requirements and Specifications for the Replacement of Existing Light Fixtures With Energy-efficient Led Fixtures in a 16-storey Building. Contractor Has Overall Responsibility for and Shall Provide and Furnish All Materials, Labour, Equipment, Tools as Necessary to Complete Scope of Work. Conduct a Thorough Assessment of the Existing Lighting Fixtures Throughout the Building. Identify the Type, Quantity, and Location of Existing Fixtures. Confirm if Selected Fixtures Are Compatible With the Building's Electrical System. Inspect the Building's Electrical Infrastructure to Confirm Its Capacity to Support Led Fixtures. Identify Any Necessary Electrical Upgrades or Modifications to Accommodate Led Fixtures. If Electrical System Can’t Accommodate the Installation of New Led Fixtures, Contractor Might Inform Tpfa of Necessary Changes/arrangements the Electrical System in Order to Proceed With Scope, Before Submitting Bid. No Extras Due to Accommodation of Current Electrical System to This Scope Will Be Allowed After Bid is Closed. Ensure Compliance With Local Electrical Codes and Regulations. All Fixtures Listed on Specifications (Section Below) to Be Equal or Like. Contractor Might Submit All Fixtures Models for Approval Prior to Purchasing. Provide bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of the Contract Price When Choosing the Fixtures for Your Bid Submission, Ensure These Will Match the Space in the Wall/ceiling, Covering All the Holes/damages. Any Adjustments on Drywall/ceiling/paint Must Be Included on Bid Price Submission. No Extras Will Be Allowed Later on The Contractor shall provide security for performance of the Contract in the form of a Performance Bond for 50% of the Contract Price. The Contractor shall provide security for payment to claimants for labour and material used or reasonably required for use in the performance of the Contract. Such security shall be in the form of a Labour and Material Payment Bond for 50% of the Contract Price.
