The estimated costs of construction for the work outlined in the plans and specifications for the various bids are: Base Bid: $3,850,000 Alternate 1: $120,390 Alternate 2: $26,250 The work shall commence within sixty (60) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed for the Contract. The Contract shall be completed within two hundred and forty (240) calendar days from the City's issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Contract This project requires payment of prevailing wages to all workers during the course of construction activities. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Franklin County and the City of Grove City, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Labor & Worker Safety, Wage and Hour Division, 614-644- 2239. State of Ohio prevailing wage rates are included in the Contract Documents and prospective bidders shall take them into account in preparing bids. The City of Grove City, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, Base Bid (Maintenance Building) The work included in the Base Bid for the project includes demolition of the existing Maintenance Building and the construction of the new Maintenance Building at the Grove City Ronald K. Harrison Service Complex, 3262 Ventura Blvd., including electrical, plumbing and mechanical facilities, site utilities, and other related work. Provide separate line items for the wash bay, the solar array and associated equipment for each. Alternate 1 (Epoxy Flooring) The work included as Alternate 1 for the project includes applying approximately 11,059 sq. ft. of epoxy resin flooring through the truck and wash bays, and other related work. Alternate 2 (Radiant Heating) The work included as Alternate 2 for the project includes furnishing and installing a radiant heating system throughout the truck and wash bays, and other related work.
