The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of installation of landscape beds and plants within the northern quadrants of the I-71 / Stringtown Road Interchange, maintenance of the beds and plant material for a duration of 1 year after acceptance and other related work. Schedule: The work shall commence within sixty (60) calendar days after the City issues the Notice to Proceed for the Contract. The work shall be completed within two hundred forty (240) calendar days from the City's issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Contract, expected early Nov. 2023. Each bid shall fully comply with the Instructions to Bidders provided in the Contract Documents and shall contain the full name and address of each person or company interested in the bid and shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either (a) a combined Bid/Performance bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 153.54 in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid or (b) by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Irrevocable Letter of Credit in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 153.54 for ten percent (10%) of the bid made payable to the City of Grove City, Ohio, conditioned that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into within 10 days after notice of acceptance. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract with a satisfactory surety company, conditioned according to law, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The City of Grove City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposal process and to enter into a contract with the bidder whom, in its opinion,
