Houston Public Works is requesting bids to purchase Fire Hydrant Parts and Accessories. Specifications shall be in accordance with the specifications below. Must be new and unused. Please include Free On-Board Destination Freight Pre-Paid by the vendor in your unit price. Award maybe based on the best value, both price and delivery time considered, to the City of Houston. All prospective bidders are encouraged to contact the buyer, David Yee at david.yee@houstontx.gov, in writing via email, for any questions regarding this solicitation. Question Deadline 10/16/2023 at 9:00 AM CT It shall be the bidder's responsibility to carefully examine each item of the specification, failure to offer a completed bid or failure to respond to each section of the technical specification (exception yes or no) will cause the proposal to be rejected without review as "non-responsive". All variances, exceptions, and/or deviations shall be fully described in the appropriate section; deceit in responding to the specification will be cause for rejection. Bids will be accepted for consideration on any make and model that is a city approved direct replacement to the Fire Hydrant Parts and Accessories as interpreted by the City of Houston. Specification sheets with brand name and model is required for all product of your bid.
