The County of Ventura Waterworks has several waterworks districts in the county that provide water for the area. The existing control equipment for controlling the water distribution is obsolete and so new control equipment are needed to maintain the water distribution service. The plan is to replace the existing back plate in the existing control panel or replace the whole panel with the new control equipment shown in the drawings. The County will have separate contractors to install the finished back plates or panels at the existing sites. Scope of Work (in accordance with attached plans): 1. The Contractor shall furnish and fabricate the control panel as shown on the drawings. Equipment is to be mounted and wired as shown on the drawings. The wiring shall be the size and color indicated with the wire labels as shown on the drawings. Parts not mentioned in the parts list but are on the drawings are considered part of the bid and the contractor is responsible for verify the part numbers and the part quantities. 2. The Contractor shall perform factory acceptance testing on the finished panels to ensure the panels are wired correctly in front of a County Representative. 3. The Contractor shall not furnish the radio or cellular equipment but provide wiring for the radio or cellular equipment for field installation. 4. The Contactor shall provide a copy of their current UL-508 certificate along with the bid. 5. The Contractor shall wrap and protect the finished panel and/or panel backplate and prepare for shipping. The Contractor shall ship the equipment to the County office at: County of Ventura Public Works Agency 6767 Spring Road, Moorpark, CA 93021 Notes: i. Contractor shall only use parts listed on the drawings to match existing equipment installations. ii. Any substituted equipment shall be approved by the County Engineer responsible for this project. iii. All materials shall be submitted to and approved by County Engineer. iv. There is no programming or configuration of the PLC, touch screen or radio equipment part of this project and shall be done by others.
