The Corporate Operational Resources Team of the WCB is seeking an experienced, professional Full Service Security Access Control System Consultant to help manage and support a replacement project on our current Security Access Control System at two WCB office buildings. The primary objective of this RFP is to select a proponent that will provide technical information, security advice and guidance to assist the WCB with replacement and upgrade of the Security Access Control System currently in place at two locations: 1. Halifax office 2. Sydney office. The successful proponent will provide their experience to aid in the development of a plan forward for this team to ensure the safety of all clients, visitors, staff, and the facility. Specifically, the key objectives outlined above include, but are not limited to: a) Determine gaps by evaluating business operations and requirements. b) Assist in identifying, managing and mitigating security risks c) Research and provide standards for specifications required for public tender. d) Prepare clearly outlined scope of work required for public tender. e) Participate in the analysis of all bids received. f) Support the project through execution. g) Security system design services may also be required. Submit questions due date October 27, 2023 4:00 pm The Successful Proponent will be required to enter into a contract with the WCB for an initial 6 month term between December 18, 2023 and June 15, 2024 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
