A pre-bid conference is not scheduled but the Engineer of Record will accept RFIs until 12:00 PM local time, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 and distribute responses by COB, on Friday, October 27, 2023. The scope of work consists of the following: The length of the sewer line to be cleaned, smoke tested and CCTV inspected is approximately 6,875 linear feet of 8-inch sewer line and 1,710 linear feet of 10-inch sewer line. There are approximately 34 manholes that shall be cleaned and inspected in accordance with the MACP Level 2 criteria. All of the smoke testing shall be completed before any CCTV work is done. The smoke testing data will be reviewed and the Engineer will decide which sewer line segments will be CCTV inspected. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following: Hethcoat & Davis, Inc., 278 Franklin Road, Suite 200, Brentwood, TN 37027 Failure to pay the plan deposit and obtain Contract Documents from locations other than Hethcoat & Davis, Inc. will result in Bidder not being considered, and Bid will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
