Asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, paved walking trails and storm sewer. Turf restoration. the adjacent premises and the various means of approach to the site, and shall make all necessary investigations to inform themselves thoroughly as to the facilities of delivering, placing and operating the necessary construction plant and the facilities for delivering and installing the equipment specified, and for delivering materials at the site, and to inform themselves thoroughly as to all the difficulties that may be encountered in complete execution of all the work under the attached contract, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. Bidders must satisfy themselves by personal examination of the location of the proposed work, and by such other means as they may prefer, as to correctness of the estimate of quantity and shall not at any time after the submission of their proposal dispute such estimates of the engineers, nor assert that there was any misunderstanding in regards to the nature of amount of work to be done Bidders must examine all sub-surface or underground conditions that may be encountered during the progress of the work, and shall determine for themselves the nature of the sub-soil, water levels and the difficulties under which the work must be carried on.
