The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) on behalf of Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), Michigan Air National Guard (MIANG), is requesting professional architectural and engineering services to perform Phase 300-700 Professional Services to design multiple projects supporting the Runway Encroachment Solution at Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan. The intent of this selection process is to contract with a qualified firm to provide ad hoc professional services to design three (3) independent, but interconnected projects related to accommodating a 1,000 Linear Foot (LF) northward shift of the runway at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. These (3) design tasks collectively make up Runway Encroachment: Project #2 - Airfield Improvements: 1) Extend the north overrun of the runway by approximately 1,000 feet to the north to accommodate a 1,000 feet northern shift of the north threshold. 2) Realign the approach lighting, navigational aids, and glide slope on both the northern and southern ends of the runway.
