General work description: Repair damaged wrought iron and chain link fences & gate The Department of Transportation (Department) will receive quotes for Construction On State Highway In San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Merced Counties at Various Locations. District-County-Route-Post Mile: 10-SJ, Sta, Mer-4, 99-R18.38, RI 8.39/R16.10/15.70 The Contractor must be a certified Small Business under section 2-1.04. The Department establishes no DVBE Contract goal but encourages bidders to obtain DVBE participation. If your bid is over $388,000.00 it will be rejected per Public Contract Code 10105(b). Payment Bonds and Insurance will be required at time of Award if your Company is low bidder and awarded the contract. Contractor must have either a Class A license or an applicable Class C license. Contractor must be a certified Small Business under Section 2-1.04. Department establishes no DVBE Contract goal but encourages bidders to obtain DVBE participation. Bids must be on a unit price basis. Complete the work within 18 working days. The estimated cost of the project is $149,770.00 No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project.
