Construction of Pole Barn Building at Police Garage, 3735 Seventh Street Road, New Kensington, Pa 15068 Upon award, a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, both in the amount of 100% of the final project price, will be required. A certificate of insurance shall also be required. A sample certificate with required insurance limits is included within the Bidding Documents. The work is to be completed on or before November 30, 2023. After November 30, 2023, liquidated damages may apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. The Bid Proposal must be a paper copy with a total installed price and detailed drawing of the proposed pole building, with an original signature, submitted in an envelope, along with the original bid security. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the bid amount, payable to Upper Burrell Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
