Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2023/10/26 12:30:00 PM NDT Snow clearing and Ice control services at École Boréale school in Happy Valley-Goose Bay for the 2023-2024 school year. Contract will be for 2 years with the option to extend one or two additional years. This Contract shall be for three years. Coverage is to be offered from October 28, 2023 to May 31, 2024 and then from October 15 through to May 31 for the next school year (2024-2025). If mutually acceptable, this contract may be renewed at the same price according to the Public Procurement Act for up to an additional one or two-year term. This renewal would have to be agreed upon in writing prior to August 31, 2025. If the Contractor should neglect to prosecute the work properly or fail to perform any provision of this Contract, the CSFP, after written notice to the Contractor, reserves the right to terminate or suspend the contract and may, at the Owner's discretion, hire another Contractor to perform the work. The CSFP reserves the right to use other equipment as deemed necessary and charge the resulting costs against the Contract should the Contractor fail to carry out their obligations under the Contract in an acceptable manner or fail to make available the number of pieces of equipment specified. Should this be deemed necessary by the Assistant Director of Education (Finance & Administration) alternate equipment or services will be called in without prior notification to the Contractor. The Contractor will be notified only prior to the next regular payment. Any second occurrence requiring the issuance of such written notice will be cause for immediate termination of the Contract. The CSFP reserves the right to decide whether or not to terminate a contract in any given circumstance and the failure by the CSFP to terminate following a second occurrence shall not constitute a waiver of any prior occurrence.
