The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Asset Management, seeks to select a qualified Contractor through a Two (2) Part procurement process to provide electrical services (including all labour, materials, supplies and equipment) for the installation of power, fibre optic cable, Ethernet cabling, networking equipment, racks etc. as described in the drawings for the Brandon Correctional Centre, 375 Veterans Way, Brandon, Manitoba. The objective is to install an improved DDC communications system, replace the existing coaxial TV cabling with Ethernet and provide power for all installed devices. In addition, power is required to be installed for a hot water dispensing system and for synergy charging stations. This policy shall provide coverage against claims for personal injury, bodily injury or death, or damage to third party property as a result of the construction of the project, with minimum limits of coverage of five million dollars ($5,000,000) per occurrence and with a property damage deductible of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) maximum.
