The City of Joliet reserves the right to request additional information from any respondent, as necessary, to clarify any information provided. The City of Joliet is planning to deploy the first phase of its Centralized Traffic Management System (CTMS) Improvements Project. The City currently maintains and operates 123 traffic signals and 11 closed loop traffic signal systems. Of these, 59 traffic signals are owned by the City and 64 are owned by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). In addition, there are 33 traffic signals located within the City that are maintained and operated by other agencies. The City will be centralizing the traffic signal system to include upgrades to the network communications to an Ethernet environment, upgrades to priority traffic signal controllers, and investment in an Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS). Technical questions related to the RFI must be submitted via email to Russell Lubash, City of Joliet Traffic Engineer at rlubash@joliet.gov.
