The Town of Westport (The Town) is soliciting proposals (Request For Proposal/RFP's) from qualified Engineers to perform a comprehensive beach resiliency planning study for four public beaches along the Town's shoreline. In-person meetings and virtual conference calls will be required throughout the entirety of the planning study. Meetings to be held in-person will take place at the Parks & Recreation office located at 260 Compo Road South in Westport, CT 06880 or at an equivalent location decided amongst the town and engineering consultant. Dates and times to be determined based on submitted timeline and schedule. The Town will only accept questions, in writing, via e-mail regarding this RFP until October 26, 2023, at 3:00 PM. Please provide company name, address, phone number, email address and contact person when submitting questions. Questions regarding the RFP shall be received via e-mail, and submitted to: Berit Watson Purchasing Officer Town of Westport 203-341-1047 bwatson@westportct.gov The Town Reserves the Right to Cancel the Rfp and to Decline to Issue a New Rfp. The Town Reserves the Right to Decline to Award a Contract to Any of the Bidders. Any Award of the Contract Shall Be Conditioned Upon Signing an Agreement With the Town That is Provided by the Town and is Satisfactory to the Town Attorney's Office.
