Hawkeye Community College (the "College") intends to enter a guaranteed maximum price contract for construction of the following planned improvements project: Butler Hall Addition and Renovation. The project is anticipated to commence in December, 2023. Substantial completion of the project is anticipated to be August, 2026 OR is to be determined and will be dependent on project progression. The CMaR will be engaged using a two-step solicitation process. A CMaR with sufficient qualifications based on the following selection criteria will be offered the opportunity to submit a proposal to serve as CMaR for the listed projects: 1. Company Description 2. Proposed Project Team 3. Similar Project Experience of Size and Scope in Either the Public or Private Sector 4. Responsiveness to Owner 5. Proposed Methodology and Differentiation 6. Past Performance and Safety Record At the proposal stage, qualified respondents will be asked to submit their proposed fees for the project, offering a sliding fee scale based on total project cost. The College will select the CMaR that submits the proposal that offers the best value based on the published selection criteria and on its ranking evaluation at the conclusion of the solicitation process.
