This document constitutes a request for competitive Bids for the relocation of Sauk County owned fiber optic cable at the intersection of CTH BD and N Reedsburg Rd. The relocation of fiber will include approximately 2,534 of new duct and fiber. Questions regarding the project can be sent to Ian Crammond at ian.crammond@saukcountywi.gov The work included in this request for bid shall be substantially completed by March 31st 2024. A Bid bond in the amount equal to 5% of the proposers bid. Use AIA A310 Bid Bond Form. Sauk County reserves the rig to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality in any Bid submitted, and to accept any part of a Bid as deemed to be in the best interests of Sauk County. CTH BD and N Reedsburg Rd is being reconstructed into a roundabout. The current Sauk County Facilities is in conflict with the new roundabout construction plans. The purpose of this project is to relocate the current Sauk County Fiber to a location that is not within conflict of the proposed roundabout plan.
