Work will include site clearing, temporary soil erosion and sediment control measures/maintenance, earthwork, asphalt paving, concrete paving, curbs, and footings, playground installation, play surfacing (engineered wood fiber and poured-in-place rubber), site furnishing installation, landscaping, and turf grass seeding. This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) Capital grant program. Work must comply with grant requirements. All bidders will be required to submit proof of Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Zion Park District. A separate bond or check shall be provided for each Base Bid Courts and Base Bid Playground, respectfully.
