The work generally includes the installation of a new storm sewer system along the entire length of Elizabeth Avenue, as well as the installation of an asphalt wedge curb and new paving along the top section of Elizabeth Avenue. The project also includes the installation of five new outfalls and associated storm sewers that tie into the existing storm sewer systems of Dunbar Avenue, Sarah Alley, Martin Alley, Wahl Avenue, and Stewart Alley, along with an inlet replacement on South Washington Street. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply.
