The intent of the project is to rehabilitate the City of Goldsboro Public Safety Complex. Scope of work will generally include design, structural construction/repair of footers, floors, interior and exterior walls including finishes, ceiling, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the building. With the design and construction of the project, the City has the following goals: 1. Complete the project in a timely fashion without undue delays and within the City's funding resources available for the project. 3. Organize construction activities to allow use of some building areas at all times The City of Goldsboro intends to utilize best commercial practices to accomplish the goals of this project, expects the Design-Builder to proactively address risks and challenges in the process and participate in improvement activities to achieve project success. The City also expects to work with the Design-Builder to devise and implement appropriate processes for this project that will maximize efficiency, overall quality, cost savings and efficiency. The City of Goldsboro reserves the right to reject any and all proposals Questions, requests for information, and inquiries related to this RFQ shall be submitted in writing to James Stanley at jstanley@goldsboronc.gov.
