The SSO 700 Storage and Treatment Facility diverts excess flow from a 42-inch diameter interceptor sewer for temporary storage and treatment. Four storage tanks are used at the head of the High Rate Treatment (HRT) process to store flow during a wet weather event. The first three tanks were installed around 2010, while the fourth one was recently installed to provide operational flexibility at the facility. The scope of work described below only covers the first three tanks. Please submit all questions, in writing, via email by October 24, 2023 at 12:00pm ET. Questions or requests for additional information regarding this solicitation shall be directed in writing to the assigned City of Cincinnati Buyer, Kelvin Huseman, via email at Kelvin.huseman@cincinnati-oh.gov State of Ohio Prevailing wage rates shall apply for all Contractors on this project. A Bid Bond, deposit of cash or Certified Check, Bank Cashier's or Bank Official's Check drawn on a solvent bank payable to the Treasurer of the City of Cincinnati, in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into. The contractor will be required to provide performance surety in the amount of 100% of the contract value. A performance bond surety shall be kept fully in effect for one year following the acceptance of the final statement of costs by the City Manager There is a 26% SBE goal assigned to this project.
