Route 49, Buckshutem Road, Intersection Improvements (CR 670), Contract No. 026950390, Grading and Paving, From West of East Avenue to Ramblewood Drive, City of Bridgeton, County of Cumberland, Federal Project No: HSIP-0049(310), UPC No: 950390, PE No: 0605510, CE No: 0605514 Estimated Completion Date on 05/05/2026 Estimated Range between $10,000,001 to $20,000,000 Contractors Prequalified in one of these Work Types are eligible to bid this project: 3, 3a, or 5 Right of Way Required: Yes Project Labor Agreement Required: No Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d), if the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD Commissioner) makes an initial determination that an employer has violated the provisions of P.L.1963, c.150 (C.34:11-56.25 et seq.) by paying wages at rates less than the rates applicable under that act, the LWD Commissioner may immediately issue a stop-work order to cease all business operations at every site where the violation has occurred, and may assess a civil penalty of $5,000 per day against the employer for each day it conducts business operations in violation of the stop-work order. If the stop-work order is issued against a subcontractor, the general contractor may terminate that subcontractor from the project in accordance with N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.35(d). Minimum Wage Rates for This Project Shall Be as Specified in the "Prevailing Wage Determination of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development" on File With This Department. The Attention of Bidders is Directed to the Provisions Covering Subletting or Assigning the Contract to Section 108-prosecution and Completion of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications.
