The RM of Brokenshell No. 68 is requesting a tender for the annual supply, delivery, off-load, stockpile and spread of approximately 6,500 yards of 7/8" Type 106 road gravel AND approximately 500 yards of 1 1/2 " Type 103 road gravel in preparation for the maintenance of their road network in each year, 2024 and 2025. The stockpile is located in the R.M. of Brokenshell No. 68 at NW 10-8-17 W2 on the West side of Trossachs. The municipality reserves the right to refuse or accept any or all tenders, and the lowest tender will not necessarily be accepted. The R.M. of Brokenshell No. 68 reserves the right to accept a tender other than the lowest tender without stating reasons. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the R.M. may consider any other factor besides price and capability to perform the work to be relevant to the decision. The successful bidder may be required to provide a sieve test at any time. The bidder will notify the R.M. when the stockpile is complete and the R.M. will perform a measurement of the stockpile, paid for by the R.M. The RM of Brokenshell No. 68 reserves the right at its sole discretion to determine compliance of a bid to the specifications detailed in this tender. The decision of the RM of Brokenshell No. 68 will be final.
