All bidders shall be FDOT qualified per Section 2-1 of the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Constructions, latest edition in the following work classes: Grading, Drainage, Flexible Paving, and Hot Plant mix-Bituminous Course. The completion date for this project will be 120 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $250.00 per day. Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid, forC30A East Gulf Avenue Washout Repair Project. Pursuant to the regulations found at 2 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 200 at seq., in addition to the statutory authority requirements and programmatic guidance governing the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Programs the Franklin County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing: C30A East Gulf Avenue Washout Repair The project consists of repairing the roadway and side slope of County Road 30A East Gulf Avenue, due to the storm damage from Hurricane Michael. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Franklin County. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The project consists of repairing the roadway and side slope of County Road 30A East Gulf Avenue, due to the storm damage from Hurricane Michael.
