The City of Aurora, Illinois (City) is in need of professional services from a qualified engineering firm and their services for the 2024 and 2025 Overlay Manhole Inspections. As a part of the selection process, the interested consultants are required to a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to perform the requested work. All questions submitted via email to PurchasingDL@aurora.il.us must be received by 4 p.m. (CST) on October 27 th , 2023. A response to all questions received will be posted on the City's website by 4 p.m. (CST) on October 30 th . o Inspect approximately 2,500 sanitary and storm manholes that are located within the limits of the City's Overlay Program. The Overlay Program and Manhole Inspections will be spread between all 10 wards within the City. o The 2024 Overlay Program manholes shall be inspected and data provided to the City by April 30th, 2024. o The 2025 Overlay Program manholes shall be inspected and data provided to the City by June 30th, 2024. o The inspections shall meet the standards of a Level 1 inspection as defined by the NASSCO Manhole Assessment and Certification Program (MACP). o Field data shall be entered using ArcGIS Survey 123 on a mobile device/tablet. o Provide repair recommendations and budget estimates for repairs presented in a Microsoft Excel format. Repair recommendations shall be separated by repair type, includes notes justifying the repair and a current market budget estimate for the repair. A severity rating of 0-3 (0 = good, 1 = moderate/fair, 2 = poor, 3 = severe) shall be assigned to each structure.
