Description: This Project, Located in Harford County, is for the Safety and Resurfacing of Us 1 Business (Conowingo Road) From Moores Mill Road to Us 1 Bypass and Cleaning of Existing Drainage Structures and Pipes. The Total Length of This Project is 1.39 Miles. the Work Will Consist of the Following: Fine Milling and Resurfacing of the Existing Roadway, Pavement Patching, Curb and Gutter Repairs, Traffic Barrier Upgrades, Minor Drainage Improvements, Signing and Pavement Markings, Sidewalk Repairs and Upgrading Ramps to Meet Current Ada Standards, Traffic Signal Modification. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The MDOT SHA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority/ disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, sexual identity, genetic information or disability in consideration for an award.
