Reference Number 0000332727 The City of Oneonta in Otsego County, New York is planning to provide a more pedestrian friendly experience throughout the Market St. corridor consistent with the Citys Downtown Revitalization Initiative as part of the Market St. Transportation Improvements project. The complete streets project will narrow Market St from its existing configuration. The road will be fully reconstructed from just east of Main St. to James Georgeson Ave. The project will include narrower travel lanes, raised intersections, parallel parking lanes, wider sidewalks, new street level and pedestrian level lighting, several urban landscaping elements. The project also includes the full replacement of the existing closed storm sewer system. The successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall achieve Substantial Completion by August 30, 2024 and Final Completion by September 30, 2024 For the purposes of this Contract, ESD hereby establishes an overall utilization goal of 30% for Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE). Successful bidders must also make a good faith effort in complying with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation Goals (DBE) to a minimum of 10% of the Contract Sum.
