Base building improvements at the BCLC Head Office in Kamloops, BC. The Province is supporting the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) in the implementation of improvements to the existing multi-level parkade structure, replacement of the existing roof and roof-lines, and feasibility assessments of electric-vehicle and solar photo-voltaic installations at the BCLC Head Office. TIMELINE: Request for proposal for prime consultant, has been issued by the owner. The Province seeks to engage a professional consulting team comprised of a Prime Consultant with the following disciplines - architect, mechanical, electrical, structural, envelope, code consultant and fire protection engineer This work will include schematic design, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, close-out, and warranty phases. Intent is to expedite the design phases to take advantage of 2024 Summer months for the start of construction. Further update in late 2023, upon award. *The preliminary construction estimate is approximately, $5 to $7 Million.
