Engineering Services - Roadway Bond Projects. The City of Forney, Texas (the "City") is requesting statements of qualifications for the Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") for Engineering Services for the Roadway Bond Projects within the City of Forney. The City is requesting proposals from qualified Professionals and hereinafter referred to as the Proposer. The Evaluation Committee ("Committee") shall short-list proposers, and the City Council shall select up to four (4) firms to complete this work. Project assignments to successful firms will be at the sole discretion of the City. Selected firms will each be assigned one (1) project. The City will negotiate with each firm to develop a scope of work and budget on a project-by-project basis. The work provided under this solicitation is anticipated to include at least the following projects: Lovers Lane (Hwy 80 to FM 740) - Upgrade Existing From Frontage Road Hwy 80 To FM 740 Length (mi) (approximately) - 1.2 FM 548 / Monitor Connector - New Construction From FM 548 To Monitor Blvd Length (mi) (approximately) - 1.0 Forney Community Park Road Extension - New Construction From Justice Center Dr To Holly Leaf Length (mi) (approximately) - 1.0 The deadline to ask questions is 10/26/2023 12:00 PM CST. Proposers are responsible for making certain that their proposal is received at the location specified by the due date and time. The City is not responsible for delays caused by any mail, package, or courier service, including the U.S. mail, or caused by any other occurrence or condition. No oral, telegraphic, electronic, facsimile, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered unless otherwise specified. Proposals received after the due date and time will be returned to the Proposer unopened. The projects include engineering design services for preliminary and final design, environmental clearance services, bid phase services, construction administration, and project management services.
