The bids submitted shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services not specifically mentioned herein which may be necessary to complete the project, as stated or implied in these plans and specifications. Question Deadline 10/24/2023 at 11:00 AM ET Any prospective offeror desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must request it in writing. The bids submitted shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and services not specifically mentioned herein which may be necessary to complete the project, as stated or implied in these plans and specifications. Scope of Work 1. All areas indicated on the map below should have raised edges and/or damages repaired in a cost effiecient manner. 2. Point 45 is a sidewalk extension. 3. Point 46 is an extension pour to facilitate the flow of water from a downspout. 4. Points on the map can be clicked on for additional information. 5. All points will be marked with orange paint for visibility. 6. Demolition / Removal a. Remove and dispose of existing concrete, disturbed soil, debris as a result of work. 7. 3000 PSI Concrete Mix a. Grade, form, and pour new concrete at an estimated 4-5 in. of concrete b. Concrete reinforced with Monofilament Fiber-mesh Reinforcement for maximum strength and durability c. Sub-base to be compacted as necessary and graded for proper sloping d. Control joints to be installed for crack control e. Concrete to have a broom (slip resistant) finish f. On day of pour, concrete mix to be optimized for environmental conditions for maximum strength and g. performance h. Forms are to be removed from property, as well as trash and debris i. Equipment and supplies to be removed from property at completion of job j. Compromising tree roots to be removed by contractor from the area of direct work. Tree roots will be flush cut. 8. Interactive Map to locations 9. Any damaged property, including irrigation components or underground utilities will be repaired by the contractor. 10. All disturbed areas shall be restored to their original condition by the Contractor to the satisfaction of the College. 11. The Contractor will make its best effort to minimize disruption to students. 12. The Contractor shall, at all times, keep the project free from accumulations of waste material or rubbish caused by the work after each day's work and after the contract work has been completed. Any paved area over which hauling operations or other moving equipment, are conducted shall be kept clean. Any soil or other material shall be removed promptly by the Contractor. 13. Contractor will adhere to the no smoking policy and all other College policies. 14. All work should be completed in a timely manner. Tolerances will be given due to weather.
