This project for utilities and surfacing improvements of Dogwood Lane, between Columbia Boulevard and Mendenhall Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley area of Juneau, Alaska. DESCRIPTION OF WORK. This Project consists of construction work including traffic control, removing asphalt, perform 12" road sub cut, excavation, replacement of existing water main and services with new, replacement of existing sewer main and services with new, installing new sanitary sewer manhole, replacement of existing storm sewer system and storm drains with new, placing and compacting road base, installing concrete valley gutter, placing pavement, resetting mailboxes, and other miscellaneous improvements necessary for a complete project. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE RANGE: Between $800,000 and $850,000. COMPLETION OF WORK. The WORK must be completed by September 15, 2024, or 60 days from the commencement of work, whichever comes first. DEADLINE FOR BIDDER QUESTIONS: 4:30pm Alaska Time on October 17, 2023. SITE OF WORK. The site of the WORK is Dogwood Lane, between Columbia Boulevard and Mendenhall Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley area of Juneau, Alaska. BIDDING, CONTRACT, or TECHNICAL QUESTIONS. A Bid shall not be considered unless one of the forms of Bidder's security is provided as prescribed in Section 00100, Article 12, at the time of bid. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE. All contractors are required to have a current Alaska Contractor's License, prior to submitting a Bid, and a current Alaska Business License prior to award. BID TO REMAIN OPEN. The Bidder shall guarantee the Bid for a period of 120 Days from the date of Bid opening. Any component of the Bid may be awarded anytime during the 120 Days. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED.
