Work consists generally of the installation of approximately 300 water meters in accordance with the Project Manual. Subject to the adequacy of funding available, additional water meter may be installed. The water meters will be provided by the owner. Contract Duration: 90 Calendar Days Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the OWNER for ten (10) percent of the total amount of the bid . No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This project will be funded through Maryland Department of the Environment s State Revolving Loan Fund (SRF) and Water Supply Grant. All requirements referenced in the MDE SRF insert, dated January 2023, will apply to this project. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and/or waive informalities or irregularities, and/or to accept or reject any items of any bid, as it may deem in the best interests of the Town of Rock Hall. The bids will be evaluated, and award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to extend the time and place of the bid opening on not less than two (2) calendar days notice by certified delivery
