Only firms that have been prequalified in accordance with the procedures stated in the Prequalification Application Instructions and Application to Prequalify will be eligible to submit bids for this project. Bids received from those who have not been prequalified will not be considered. Construction bids for this project are currently scheduled to be opened in January 2024. The LRG IV project scope comprises construction of 60 independent senior living units split evenly between two new nearly identical 2-story wood framed buildings at the wooded parcel adjacent to the existing LRG I apartment buildings scheduled to be renovated concurrent with this (LRG IV) project. The new construction includes 17 additional parking spaces, covered walkways, recreational area, paved trails, and a new stormwater pond. Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds on the aforementioned project The General Contract for this project is anticipated to be advertised for bid in late November 2023 with bid opening occurring in January 2024. Contract Award is anticipated to occur in April 2024 with construction to commence shortly thereafter. The overall construction duration is planned to be approximately 20 months. These are estimated dates, seasons, and durations and are subject to change. The cost for this project is estimated to be approximately $15 million (USD).
