1. Demolition and replacement of the chilled water plant, which includes two (2) pre-purchased water-cooled chillers, one (1) pre-purchased two-cell cooling tower, two (2) vertical turbine condenser water pumps, two (2) chilled water primary pumps, two (2) chilled water secondary pumps, air separator, expansion tank, and additional scope as shown on the drawings and specified, herein. 2. Installation of refrigerant leak detection system. 3. Replacement of water treatment equipment. 4. Test and balance of existing chilled water and condenser water pumps associated with the chillers to the design flows. 5. Disconnect and reconnect electrical power to the equipment as shown on the E-series drawings. 6. Update the chiller, chiller pumps and refrigerant monitoring to interface to Owner's existing building automation system. Refer to Sheet M701 for more information. Project will be constructed under a Single Prime Contract with bids received on a lump sum basis. Each proposal shall include all labor, material, and services necessary to complete the project in full accordance with the Construction Drawings and Project Manual. Prime bidders and their subcontractors must be certified and in compliance with the Indiana General Assembly's House Enrollment Act #1019. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security for five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form of a certified check or a bid bond. The successful bidder shall, upon acceptance of his bid, be required to procure and pay for a 100% Performance Bond/Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount equal to the contract price, which shall cover faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of all obligations.
