The existing structure is a 5-foot rectangular sharp-crested weir consisting of a fixed steel plate supported by 12-inch reinforced concrete walls extending into the ditch banks. The existing structure is substandard and requires modification to meet its intended purpose. The City intends to secure a Contractor to remove the existing structure and replace it with a concrete long-throated flume structure. The Work to be performed under this project shall consist of furnishing tools, equipment, materials, and supplies, in addition to furnishing labor, transportation, and performing all work other operations required for the fulfillment of the project t in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work shall be complete; all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called out which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be provided at no increase in cost to the City. The Work includes: the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment for the supply, delivery, fabrication, installation, testing, and other materials and services required for the Baseline Road Weir Outfall project. Specific features include, but are not limited to: 1. Site preparation. Ditch flows must be bypassed around active construction for the duration of the project. 2. Demolition and removal of the existing structure. 3. Sitework, grading, and foundation preparation. 4. Construction of new long-throated flume structure. 5. Flow recording and telemetry equipment. 6.
