Project includes approximately 19,000 LF of 20-inch reuse main installed via traditional open cut and trenchless technologies as appropriate. Connection locations: o The southern connection point is located west of the intersection of the proposed Southbury Drive and Macy Island Road near the border of Kindred and Tohoqua. o The northern connection point is at NeoCity on the south side of Neptune Road at NeoVation Way. A preliminary design including pipeline routing, initial geotechnical investigation, initial Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigation, ecological evaluation, and survey are in progress under a separate, previously awarded scope of services. These deliverables are scheduled to be finalized January 2024. Additional SUE, geotechnical engineering, ecological evaluation, and survey may be necessary to complete the final design. The reuse main extension is to be placed into service by October 2025. It is anticipated that final design is too be complete and the construction bids advertised no later than June 2024 to meet this schedule. The selected consultant must coordinate closely with the Kindred and Tohoqua developers and their engineers for design coordination and to avoid conflict with the ongoing private development activities.
