Description: This project, located in Baltimore County, is for the construction of a portion of MD 542 (Loch Raven Boulevard) from South of Taylor Avenue to E. Joppa Road. Beginning at the Intersection of MD 542 South of Taylor Avenue and extending in a Northerly direction to E. Joppa Road for a total distance 1.3 miles. Pre-Bid Conference: A "Pre-Bidding Session" for the purpose of answering or obtaining answers to questions of parties interested in constructing the work relative to Right-ofWay, Utilities, Design, and Construction Details will be conducted at 10:00 am -12:00pm on October 27, 2023 at District #4 Office, 320 West Warren Road Hunt Valley, MD 21030, Baltimore County. While attendance at the Pre-Bid conference is not mandatory, this is the offeror's opportunity to raise questions and/or issues of concern regarding the project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids.
