All questions should be addressed in writing to the Procurement Officer. Please put the RFQ # and Title in the subject line of your email. Questions should be submitted by Monday, October 20th , 2023, by 4:00pm. The contractor shall agree to furnish all labor, material, equipment, and services necessary to perform the scope of work set forth in these specifications. Snow removal will take place on weekends and holidays, if necessary, with regular pay, All lots, sidewalks and steps shall be cleared side to side no later than 6:30 am for snowfalls that occur the previous evening . De-icing operations shall commence upon weather reports or notification by the department representative, Louis Small 410-554-9464 or his designee that at least 1/8th inch of ice is expected or has settled on the sidewalks , Removal of snow will commence when the snowfall has stopped or when 1" of snow has accumulated on lots, driveways, sidewalks, and entrances; whichever comes first. Immediately after snow removal operations, the contractor shall apply a de-icing material on all walkways and lots. Snow shall be removed from all entrance doors. The Department reserves the right to reduce or withhold Contract payment in the event the Contractor does not provide the Department with all required deliverables within the time frame specified in the Contract or otherwise breaches the terms and conditions of the Contract until such time as the Contractor brings itself into full compliance with the Contract.
