Reference Number 0000332522 The Buckley and Iliff Intersection Improvements project consists of improvements related to a northbound right turn lane on Buckley Road, a westbound right turn lane on Iliff Avenue, dual westbound left turn lanes, new curb returns and pedestrian ramps for the northeast and southeast corners of the intersection, and a full rebuild of the intersection. It is anticipated that construction shall begin April 2024. General Requirements - Insurance Required Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $500.00 per day. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - 100 % - 100 % -- Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid , payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. The estimated cost for this this project ranges from $2,100,000.00 to $2,600,000.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. *The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, and to accept that bid which is considered to be in the best interest of the City.
