Nevada County is inviting proposals from qualified firms to provide construction management and inspection services (appropriate professional registration required) with the experience, expertise, and qualifications to provide Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Dog Bar Rod Bridge Replacement project. Work may include comprehensive construction management and inspection services associated with the construction of bridge(s) within Nevada County. The selected Firm will provide construction management, construction inspection services, resident engineer services, and constructability review services and will work under the direction and supervision of the County. This RFP will result in the award of one contract to be effective for an approximate four-year term. PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS The services described herein are considered "public works" as defined by California Labor Code Section 1720 et seq. Any Consultant awarded a contract as the result of this RFP shall be responsible for compliance with all applicable prevailing wage laws, as well as any and all applicable state or federal wage laws, for services under the Consultant's contract. The County reserves the right to waive minor defects and/or irregularities in proposals, and shall be the sole judge of the materiality of any such defect or irregularity Project Completion October 2027 No Pre-proposal Conference is scheduled.
